Il 12 giugno, i maggiri rappresentanti dell’industria fotovoltaica europea si sono riuniti a Berlino nel contesto della Piattaforma Europea del Fotovoltaico. Una anteprima degli obiettivi al 2015:
- rafforzare il ruolo di leader industriale dell’Europa
- individuare priorità a corto, medio e lungo termine
- programmi di ricerca per la cooperazione tra ricerca, industria e mercato.

Solar Power – Competitive in Almost All of Europe by 2020

The European photovoltaic market is growing at a rapid pace. The
second assembly of the European Photovoltaic Technology Platform
met on the 12th of June 2007 in Berlin and presented their
“Strategic Research Agenda” (SRA). The aim of the “Strategic
Research Agenda” is to strengthen Europe’s worldwide leading role
in photovoltaic and to set short, middle and long term research
priorities in Europe. Experts will be brought together in the
formation stages of research programs, the cooperation and
coordination between industry, research and the market will be
strengthened. The EU-PV Technology Platform expects that by 2015,
the solar power in South Europe will be competitive with
conventional power supplies and by 2020 in all of Europe. A
detailed picture of the PV- potential in Europe is shown in a
newly published map from the European Commission. It is
supplemented by the interactive geographical
PHOTOVOLTAIC-Information system PVGIS.

Event Tip: On 28th of September the 4th National Conference for
Photovoltaic Power Plants takes place in the context of the
RENEXPO® 2007. The conference themes include market development,
production, planning, financing, maintenance, insurance for
photovoltaic power plants. At the accompanying trade fair PV-EXPO®,
the visitors will find the latest developments in areas of power
inverters, lightning and over voltage protection, system trade as
well as project management and financing.
